put a new one and this code has not come back, also change o2 sensors and the small pcv on the back of the engine Super HIDDEN and difficult to remove vacuum lines break for sure when removing so buy them before changing this vacuum shits.

Hi there, just wondering if your codes came back... any ways there is a vacuum pipe that was giving me trouble giving me all sorts of codes with fuel trim and all. This particular pipe is under the smaller cover that is over the injectors. Mine had perished and cracked severely. Hope this helps some people.

Hey, I saw the fix video. Did the code ever come back? I was thinking the electronic valve could be stuck open. Does your check valve close when the pump turns off and the engine is running? I have the intermittent light also and the check valve and the pump seem to work but i'm not sure how to check the electronic valve.

I flipped the car on - had a rattle and rough idle. So a whine/rattle both is bad? I get no lights on dash. How do I know the pump works by taking hose off - what and where am i checking for blow

this is EXACTLY how my car sounds when cold, even get a little whine then it turns off after bout 2 mins its wierd. Once warmed the rattle and whine from the unit is gone. is it this pump/valve what ever the shit is - is that what causes it?
nope the code has never come back since I changed out the purge control valve in another video, you should pull your code and see what is giving you the check engine light

Just by going by what you said it sounds like to me your air pump is on the way out, it will start to rattle and whine when it's dying. You might want to remove the hose from your check valve and see if the check valve is stuck open and exhaust is blowing through the hose that can cause the air pump to fail as well. You must do these checks while the motor is cold.
