@banjosandwashboards Although I do apologize about the tampon remark, had I thought you were a woman from the start I would not have made such a statement.

@banjosandwashboards I'm not greedy, I live a very modest lifestyle, I've never stabbed anyone in the throat for what I have in life. I've worked the shittiest jobs for the shittiest pay and never once asked a stranger for a hand out. You sound like someone who has lived the opposite, you sound like someone who was likely spoiled in life. I'm advocating personal accountability for the adult actions that you take in life. You're advocating irresponsibility for personal decisions in life.

@banjosandwashboards We are getting sold out every day by our Govts, doesn't mean I'm worried about the addicted hobos digging through my dumpsters as we speak. I make sure I have food in my stomach, warm roof over my head and gas in my car. I also make sure my family is taken care of without asking/demanding YOU or anyone else flip the bill for my actions. Maybe you should take the tampon out of your vag and stop crying for addicted LooooSers. Or spend more of YOUR money on them, not mine.

@banjosandwashboards Who said I was worried about anything? You're the one worried about these drug addict, alcoholic losers. I am doing something, I'm getting my ass to work so YOU don't have to funnel your tax dollars to paying for my personal vices and housing. Whining about more money and more volunteers however is accomplishing ZERO( for your argument )...Thanks for the battle of witts tho, I enjoyed it while it lasted.

@banjosandwashboards The same can be said for alcoholics and drug addicts. They have a decent share of programs designed to help them (just like battered women do) but we can't put guns to their head and FORCE them to go to treatment. If we simply shovel MORE money to an addict, that money will likely go straight to the drug dealer and liquor store. Which is why I argue that we need to refine the system to help those who have the MOST likelyhood of turning their life around. It just makes sense!

@banjosandwashboards Well if age 18 isn't good enough for you can you tell us what age you draw the line? Is it 28? 38? 48? When are these late-bloomers old enough for you to accept that they are adults who need to make choices like adults. We have X amount of money, resources and labour do you prefer this focus to go towards the 20 year old junkie/alcoholic OR focused more on the 20 year old battered mother who lost her job and just needs to get back on her feet? Brass tacks and tic tacs.
People have no fucking interest in homeless people look at the views. People are more interested in cats doing tricks.
