Distortion Narrative

Did you know that Alzheimer's is the most common type of Dementia prone to adults and seniors today? This disease affects one in every eleven Canadians.

The title of our narrative, "Distortion," depicts the struggles between a girl and her father who has Alzheimer's. The audience follows the narration and point of view of the young girl, who slowly notices her father's unusual actions after many puzzling situations.

In our film, the young girl keeps track of her day's events by writing in a diary that symbolizes the passing of time in which the father's disease slowly becomes more visible.

How would you react if you witnessed the mind of a loved one slowly deteriorate? Would you respond in the same way as our protagonist? Watch and see.
