My two cents on the best firearm available - just a few random thots.

Glock, Springfield XD, Sig, Taurus, etc

Its all about finding a firearm your comfortable with and putting rounds on target again and again. What works for you, might not work for everyone else.

:)

Four safety rules of handling firearms:

*Treat all guns as if they are loaded all the times.

*Never point a gun at anything you're not willing to destroy.

*Keep your finger off the trigger until sights are on target.

*Watch your backstop and anything your bullet/s may come in contact with.

  • I like SIG Sauer because they feel solid in my hands. Metal handguns make better clubs if your ammo runs dry.

Nothing against GLOCK, just don't like polymer frames.

  • @Jrhoney Sigs are very nice too- if I win the lottery, I will get a Sig & probably one of everything else.

    :)

  • I like Glocks in 9mm and .40, XDs in .45acp. To me, the larger caliber Glock frames are just too chunky. 1911s will always be my favorite though. Shoot, I love them all.

  • @shotgunsteve93 I would really like to get a 1911 and do a review on one. Perhaps some day...

  • Whats a good gun to start with? For a beginner

I talk about considerations when it comes to new shooters & news guns to start with.

  • In all my life I have NEVER had to fire any type of fire arm under water. A nice feature for Sponge Bob Square Pants.

  • I think im the outsider here LOL i carry a beretta 92 as my edc sidearm, i feel as though she is a extension of my body and i must admit i am very accurate with her! I have a glock as well, i tried to carry one every day but the 92 just seems made for me, im a big fella though im 6,8 350 so i feel comfy even with a large frame sidearm!!

  • And what would you prefer?

    Glock 23

    Springfield armory's xd sub-compact 3" 40 S&W

    or Walther p99 compact 40 S&w?

Which would you prefer. I am interested in getting one of the 3, but i dont know which one. i really like the xd subcompact because of the 3 inch barrel and its conceiled size

  • Ive been told by many people that the XD 45 Compact tactical is more accurate and has more velocity than the glock 45 acp weapons

What is your opinion about that?

  • Your right, it basically comes down to personnal preference and what your most comfortable with given your shooting needs. I carried a Glock 21, then a Glock 22 as a Patrol Officer for 7 years and had a Glock 27 as a back up/off duty weapon. I fired thousands of rounds with the Glocks using various ammo types and never could obtain the same level of accuracy as my SA 1911. The SA 1911 just feels better in my hands and the extra weight makes quick follow up shots (double tap) more accurate.

  • Good video & a nice channel.

What do you think about the CZ 75 P-01 9mm??

  • @MrPerformanceChannel True I seen them cheaper than glocks. There made in my state of NH.

They are nice pistols in my opinion a nice range Gun. I would rather carry a glock 23 than a 226 for everyday carry. They honestly dont have anything over a glock thats worth the more money. I wouldnt pay a thousand dollars for one.

  • Sig is not worth a thousand dollars. I would rather carry a glock everyday than a sig. Sigs are real nice but not my cup of tea for everyday carry.

  • waste of time

  • glock is good but i hate the plastic guide rod...
