DON'T JUST BE A 'CRITIC'. Post some helpful FEEDBACK so that EVERYONE learns. I am only listing their "base training system" as everyone here cross-trains. This is a friendly sparring session and folks here are not here to prove a point, but rather, to learn from each other.

If you are in the Orange County, California area, you are welcome to attend our meetups. Everyone here can show others some techniques from their style so that everyone can learn from each other. We just ask that people leave their EGO at home, come with an open mind and join in on the fun!

Find them at: http://www.meetup.com/ocmartialarts/

or collaborate about martial arts on their Facebook page at: https://www.facebook.com/groups/126648094048641/

  • i just moved t orange county...im a judoka. can i come spar with you guys?

  • @jacksoncole79 - of course, find us on meetup.com/ocmartialarts/

  • Blue guy: Use circle walking to sneak in closer, don't stay so far away! And also walk faster and change directions/angles/rhythm more, so he looses track of you. Remember the words of the famous swordfighter Musashi: "In swordfighting, the main point is to cut the enemy."

  • @piaten - Thanks for the constructive advice. I am sure the group members appreciate them.

  • I asuume the PaKua/Bagua practitioner is in the black. He seems comfortable with actual movement against an opponent, and I think would benefit from a faster version of rough-and-tumble sparring...I think he could hack it, could learn lots, and really make his chosen art "sing." Of course, risks are involved. I think, and no offense is intended, if the aikidoka were my student, I'd back him off the freestyle, and have him benefit from pre-arranged, then freeform drills.thanks for posting!

  • No Aikido practitioner in this video... You should rename it.

  • @scotgerman88 Hey, "Troll" you're banished!
