Langosta is rock and sand bottom and it is ok for a begginer.....maybe try the beach in town first thats the best begginer spot

I have never surfed before, but plan on learning while out in Tamarindo this August. Is Langosta beach too intense for a beginner? Or should I grow a pair and go big? I heard there is coral.
