Every time I watch this part of Deadliest Catch, I get chills. It's a beautiful moment and anyone who says differently is a jackass and obviously doesn't watch this show to know how important Phil Harris was, not to just the fishing community, but all the viewers as well. We don't go and talk crap about the people you respect and love that are dead so how about you be a decent individual and do the same?

@derekdavis1996 The one in this video has the petrol cap opened,so his ashes can flow into the ocean. They said that on After the catch. Search Google for After the catch online. R.I.P Phill. Just got my Phil t-shirt from my stepsons as a christmas present. Wear it with pride.

@derekdavis1996 at the memorial service you can see two bike gas tanks, they buried one and the other is the one that they put in the pot

Wow.. what a send off. Rip Captain Phil Harris.

@derekdavis1996 the thing your talking about the burying, that was phils gas tank from his bike :)

This doesn't make any sense! The one video had the 2 boys burying Phil's ashes and now this one has them putting it in a pot and dumping it overboard? can anyone clarify this?

@SarafanMelchiah "Be a man arrogant complex"??? You can call it that, I'd simply call it having pride in your profession. I live in Alaska, and I've met a few of these guys at bars in Dutch Harbor and Kodiak. You really couldn't be further from the truth, they're very down to earth people. They have pride and strong camaraderie with one another because of the treacherous nature of their job, but they don't demand respect from anyone.
Ak-47; just incase some of the fish mouth off to the crew.

@Squad1993 If you called them "rednecks" you would be sadly mistaken, and a disrespectful bastard. These people are fishermen & they put there lives on the line EVERYTIME they go out, they could quit ANYTIME they want to, but they don't. Everytime you had (if you had) a king, or snow, or opilio crab to eat, chances are it didn't come from China, it came from these guys. These men (and sometimes women < cooks) deserve AS MUCH respect as the men & women in the armed forces. I respect you dude. :)
