to be honest Im glad he didnt win because although he was like the best he probably wouldnt have been in a band and wouldnt have written his own songs he would have ended up being one of Simon cowells little puppets who sing crap songs about stuff that dont matter.

Well to a point, Chris Daughtry still got the short end of the stick with their first album. Their management on the first album wrote many of the songs and chose which ones would go on the album for them. On their second album, Chris Daughtry was basically in complete control of it without so much oversight from others.
