Parrot. ROFL!!!. They've been talking about Parrot for at least the last 8 fucking years Atleast! Whose fucking harbrained idea was that?! 'Virtual machine.' What a fucking DAFT idea. Where has a virtual machine ever been implemented that works? Java? Java has been buggy forever. Fucking stupid. They want to dump namespace in Perl so that it looks like that shit language java. Awesome interview! His books and philosophies are truly the best out there. Watch this through to the end and you will get a very nice taste of upcoming Perl 6, as well as some great wisdom on the best designs for programming languages and how to be a great programmer. I've never heard or read such a clear explanation of some of the key features of programming languages as Mr. Conway gives and that's what makes Damian a true hero to coders.
