  • THERE IS POWER NOW : )

  • They have no power on the island right now ,gas is $7.60 a gal. over 1200 jobs lost on kwaj. the near by U.S base. Big oil co. refuses to deliver them gas because of past bills unpaid. Rice is $ 20 a bag instead of 7.50$ it was ten month ago,the people of the islands live on rice. The things are getting much harder out there on Ebeye and the other Marshell'sI wish them health & luck....

  • i love this video, and I myself believe that someday I will go back to the Marshall Islands and change things.

I Danny Almen Kaneala was born in the marshall Isalnd and I personelly missed my days and memory that I had back home.

I'm currently in the Marine Corps and I promise that someday down the road I will make changes...

Only God will call me on my duty this coming days, and who ever took this video I thank you once again...

  • @phlashphil , I'm so sorry to hear about the situation on Ebye.I'm an American who worked on Kwaj in the early 90's. I had many friends on Ebye. The U.S. government really screwed over the gentle Marshallese people and should do something to make amends.

  • in Guam they got lots of Marshallese immigrants.

  • I myself will go back these days. I just want to acheive my goal and get out of the states take my family and go work to focus on what the people need not what the government needs ("$") lets all pray so God can help thru.

  • MEMORY'S ....just watching this made me cry cause i knew everybody in Ebeye...

  • I like your video and message, but your message would be stronger with better grammar and spelling.

  • First off, the testing ICBMS have several measures to ensure that they do not interfere with the local population and are absolutely no threat to the people there whatsoever. Most of the testing has moved to California, anyway.

Also, this doesn't tell one complete story. The US millitary tries to do a lot for the people. They even built a desalinization plant for the people of Ebye, but they didn't keep people there to maintain it. It is a sad story, and I want to help. It's just not simple.

  • awww im not from marshall islands but i visited Ebeye in 2006...my heart goes out to dese kids...so many of dem....it was really hot down there. some of dese kids on dis video i remember their faces...but...don't kno their names. newyz wish u luck n one luv

  • good stuff.

Ebeye is a tough place but there are some amazing people there with big hearts.

Wish more people would come and see it first hand, and hear the stories about how the US Army moved them off of their pristine islands and and forever changed their way of life.
