  • Pat Burgeson is way underrated. He didn't really do much on this clip. The solo you want to hear him play is the one he played on this song when he was with Chet's band during the 'Read My Licks' tour. Those of you that have seen a clip of that performance know instantly what I am talking about. He was playing a green strat with Bill Lawrence pickups that sounded really sweet.

  • Brent is all class.

  • Is that seymour duncan playing?

  • nice stuff but a bad shirt brent

  • Brent is soulful in this song and it fits. That's why He's been in Nashville for a long time.Pat is more cerebral, which I love also and Brent knows what to play on every song.

  • Superb. I think I spot a Wegen pick in Pat's mouth too, they're great picks! :D

  • I think It's ultimately what chet would have thought :)

  • Tommy emmanuel playing this song better than pat Bergeson or any body else ,even pat said this

  • yeah ive seen that clip

    jawdropping

    for at least 2 reasons

    1 the solo itself and

    2 bergeson having the courage

thats the word i wanna use

to pull that off sitting on that stage

    w/ mister owen

i remember thinking, 'who is that guy?'

it was quite impressive to put it mildly

  • Forget Hiland... that's Nokie Edwards sitting there! (The Ventures lead guitarist). And the grey haired hippie in the back is Seymour Duncan (pickup guru, and damn fine Tele whacker)

  • Why is Johnny Hiland playing in the shadows? He should be blazing allover these guys!
