And if what you say about that ending being planned is true, that's even more pathetic with all the lose ends they left open. Sorry if I hurt your feelings. Wait, no I'm not... @mpeplow855 - LOST wasn't cancelled, the writers asked for the show to end in season 6 midway through season 3 when things were going to slow. They also had the final scenes planned from the end of season 3 and the final season was planned dying season 4. All the writers and Matthew Fox knew the ending for years.

The last season of LOST wast total garbage. They paced the show too slow forcing them to go with a lame, predictable ending when they got canceled. If you haven't watched LOST yet. You can skip the last season & you'll be much happier with the show.

I love how people repeat the same crap about the answers of mysteries of Lost without being any critical about the show... "What is the island ?" "It's an island, lol" "Yay, its to contain smoke monster lol!"

I mean... Seriously guys ? If you don't know the show as well to admit that some of the answers simply don't exist, don't pretend to. Actually you just don't really care about these questions. So, please, shut the hell up about it and don't act like you know the answers.

Bidrs, by Alfred Hitchkock, was the first of a genre that would be world widespread: the horror/thriller movies. It's a masterpiece followed, studied and somehow, venerated by young cineasts or just the genre fans. I'm so glad it never goes on explanations like why the birds start behave like this and why they stop. Never told! That would kill the mistery and the uncomfortable feelings (the aim of thrill). That's one of my favorite movies as Lost is one of my favorite TV series.
