What REALLY blows my mind about this is that Sweeney and Lovett were real people who really turned people into pies. Go look it up it was an actual case, terrifying really.

holy jesus, the sopranos in the choral parts are amazing!
-
why did you not film the city on fire sequence?
anyway, this is best production I've ever seen that's not exactly "professional"
I love Sweeney's acting and singing, Mrs. Lovett's acting is great but her voice is an iffie for me, no offense intended. I'm glad in this production, Mrs. Lovett actually screams when getting thrown in the oven, unlike the 1982 Filmed Live on Stage version, I was disappointed by that

Toby went crazy. I so wish I could've seen this live!

Sweeney looks more like a crazed dentist than a crazed barber.
Oh my gosh. This is SO. GOOD! I wish I'd had a chance to see this show live! I saw the other YouTube video of your ending sequence, from another night, and really liked it, but it didn't seem as spontaneous and emotional as this one -- what a rare treat to go right on to an even more intense, polished, and moving version of the same production! The raw passion of both Mrs. Lovett and Sweeney is just amazing. And every choice for the lighting is perfect, the whole way through. Bravo!

Thank you! These low quality, quick capture videos hardly do the performers justice. Very talented players. Can't wait to see what the next performance brings! (This summer it is Titanic!)
