I remember this being on ITV before kids' TV in the mid 80s, at the time there were a lot of people in it who had also, and some still did, appear in Neighbours.

@BDRUMMER Yes, Modern Family/The Middle are both very much based on Sons & Daughters, though both inferior, imo. And Eden Sher from this show is on The Middle. I wish I could get S&D on DVD.
