just want to say, i bought the ns7fx after coming very close to purchasing the v7 but v7s were sold out and the gentleman gave a great offer i couldnt refuse. its been 4 weeks and i am having so much fun! the post fader effects is amazing and its hard for me to put these great platters down! definately worth the 1185 us dollars! ^_^

Due to the configuration restraints of the V7 you cannot use the built in effects as post fader effects but surely you could use any effects unit you wanted in a post fader configuration. I have not used the NSFX but you should be able to use it with the V7(s) to achieve exactly the same thing that you're doing with the NS7FX while ignoring or even including the V7s onboard effects.
