@zezuntxiduntxi I had bought it in a Sam Ash store in NYC, i had it shipped to me to get rid of the insane tax they charge up there. I know that Sam Ash has put price drops on this model before (for like $840, vs. $900). Id say go to one of their stores to test it out, and definately go for the Black instead of the Red, cuz the Black has got the Ebony fingerboard which imo feels much better than the rosewood, and gives a darker, more brutal tone. Good luck man.

whats the difference between the EC 1000 black and the EC 1000 VINTAGE BLACK ? coz these ones are more xpensive..
Mangledcorpse 1 year ago
@Mangledcorpse the vintage black fretboard is made of ebony, which is a more expensive and harder wood. The normal black model fretboard is made of rosewood, which is cheaper and in my opinion doesn't feel as nice as ebony.

Digging this cover! :)
How are you liking the Eclipse?
EmbracetheGray 2 years ago
Glad you like the cover! I have to say the Eclipse is fantastic! Its pretty much a "sport" version of a normal les paul. Its got the EMG's, locking tuners, 24 frets, an awesome extra access cut out on the one cutaway. I also love the feel with the satin finish and back body cutout! I know you probably didn't care to read this much, but I just wanted to give a description, scince you asked. :) Cheers!
