For those of of us from the 8mm (pre-VHS) era, these bring back great memories. I ue to get the Brenda's Movie House Catalogue in the late 70s too.

Cool! A DIY kinescope! Back in those days, there were no such things as domestic video recorders, so the only way of capturing the TV broadcast was to put a film camera in front of the screen. Heck, this is what TV companies did, except with 16 mm, to sell footage to where the television standards weren't known, or were in a state of flux (many countries around then were preparing for the introduction of colour TV, of which three standards competed)
So for a Super 8 copy, this is rather good!
