@ViciousAlienKlown Wii is still going quite modestly a good 5 years after it's launch- and you're telling me it was outdated then? It's not all about graphics and power, but innovation. People like motion controls, it sells to a large audience and has genuinely brought some real good- FPS's just aren't the same without them, and Pllaystation have HAD to follow suit with the Move. The 3DS and other products are entirely irrelevant. We're talking about the highest selling 7th gen console here- Wii

@tquinnathome1 Why bother, seriously...the Wii is bowing out, it might sell ok this holiday. Besides the Wii was outdated before it even came out. A lot of people abandoned the console rather quickly because it didn't hold their interest and brought in new people but that happened to them as well, collected dust. Nintendo hurt themselves with the Wii and how they handled the games for it. It shows with the 3DS, no games and incomplete hardware....add-on analog stick anyone?

Not that I'm defending the Wii. it should have had more storage space and memory, and should have had the restrictions for games that it currently has (like Black Ops and Conduit 2) since launch. Unfortunately, motion controls were new, and for the industry to be broken, Nintendo had to take a kick. That hasn't stopped sales, and overall, playing an FPS with motion controls, I really don't think I can ever go back to playing them with joysticks. Good games on Wii should also be publicised more.

@ViciousAlienKlown It speaks volumes that you're the one complaining about people defending a 'crap console', when you're the one taking your time to post such misguided and bias messages. Let me guess, you're in school. You lot seem to have that sort of mentality. Tell you what, how about you stick to your own chosen console, and let people who own their own play them and discuss them in peace. The Wii is outdated power-wise, but it was a fraction of the cost, and has hundreds of decent games.

@ViciousAlienKlown I'll disagree. I love my Xbox, and I love my Wii. From a totally unbiased viewpoint here, there is nothing on the original Xbox which the Wii can't, or hasn't already beaten. I loaded up Halo 2 the other day, and my god, there is nothing on that game which looks anything close to The Conduit, let alone Conduit 2. Bad games don't define a console. Good games do. Even the PS2 was chock full of thousands of awful games that no one remembers. The Wii has a good solid library.
-
Whats sad is people comparing brand new games on the Wii to games from 2003. That says it all. The Xbox 1 has a better game library as well.
-
@NintendoDSVampire Farcry on the Xbox 1 looks better than anything on the Wii and so does Doom 3. The Wii best looking games don't match these games in terms of graphics and the Xbox1 had better online. 2011 and the Wii is almost dead.
-
@NintendoDSVampire Yeah, it looks worse, seriously why do people defend this peice of crap console. Bad games, outdated hardware and useless motion controls.
-
Graphics on wii aren't as high a standard as xbox and ps3 as on xbox and ps3 developers push the hardware to the limits in order to make their game stand out graphically as this is what buyers look for. People who play wii aren't retarded and don't just buy the best looking games, which is why developers spend more time improving gameplay.

@Janezk7 Dude last story is coming out in NA this year.
I got The Conduit the day it came out. That same day, my freind kept making fun of the wii's graphics.
I beat him over the head with the disk holder. XD

HVS should team up with Valve to make a port of half life 2 for Wii.
