nice guitar tone! so many holdsworth copy videos with that grungy heavy metal tone. better to have a good tone than playing a bunch of notes with a crappy sound! the chords on this go by fast so ya can't resort to II V I. i think you sound great here. listen to holdsworth live on funnels and you've done a lot better than he has sometimes! often allan sounded bad live before this century...i guess the problem with sounding like allan is that it has been done already

at least they're humble about it. One thing they have in common with the master.
It really wasn't that bad. I don't see anything wrong with covering challenging music even if it's not quite up to par with the original. It helps widen the audience.
