Strangefruit are a new and exciting concoction, fusing elements of pop, folk, jazz, blues, rock and country together. Having played their first gigs in Tokyo (supporting The Only Ones last May), Jenny, Jamie and Peter recruited Will Roberts and played their first official show together as a band in November 2008.

Although still relatively young as a band, this is a live act not to be missed, with Jenny Maxwell on Vocals / Violin / Piano, Jamie Perrett and Peter Perrett jnr (formerly of Babyshambles and Love Minus Zero) on Guitar / Vocals and Bass respectively and Will Roberts on Drums. Strangefruit have a mature and tantalizing new sound, complete with delightful harmonies and touching songs.

Oozing star quality, stage presence and an unrivalled musicianship Strangefruit will fill you with passion, beauty and the rare sense of spontaneity. Armed with catchy tunes and lyrics that tackle taboo issues their songs will haunt you and provide the backdrop to your life. Their performance will leave you with shivers down your spine.
