This is the second part of the X-Pert installation. This is by no means meant to be used in replacement of the manual, but as a visual supplement. The complete line of X-Poles can be found at http://www.descendingangels.com/products.html. For a limited time the poles will be on sale at a 10% discount. Discount taken at checkout.

  • I have just put mine up using your video's :) I didnt check for a beam as I was a little limited for space but it seems to be fine. My mum has had her pole up in the kitchen without it being on a beam for like 2 years and she has never had a problem either so fingers crossed :)

  • @rebeccalouisa89 DO NOT ERECT YOUR POLE UNLESS YOU BRACE IT UNDER A RAFTER IN YOUR CEILING!!! Your safety depends on it! Follow the installation instructions that came with your pole and place it beneath a stud. These are very stable and sturdy poles, however, you must follow the instructions. You do not want the pole to fall down, especially if you are on it, or cause damage to your ceiling.

  • wait.. how did your husband make the pole spin to extend to the top?? i couldn't do that to mine after i joined my pole pieces together... i tried twisting it to the ceiling but it didn't work. It was tightened hard?

  • @jellytubess Simply turn the pole in your hands. If it's not turning, check to make sure you have loosened the three hex screws that are down by the extension cover.

  • @XpsychoholicslagX Thanks for the video, I am looking into this pole. My house has suspended ceiling all over but there is one solid exposed beam in one place. The beam is not very wide though, I think it's not as wide as the dome. Do you think it would work there? Or maybe it could be installed with the dome part on the floor? Also, how big is the carrying bag? I want to be able to travel by plane with it. Thanks

  • @cristinaamador Your best bet would be to get a permanent flat ceiling mount. You could screw that into your beam without worrying if the beam is to skinny to securely hold the top dome of your pole. I sell them now, and they should be on my website in a couple of days. The case for the X-Pert is 45"x17"x5. The pole weighs 45 pounds.

  • @tnksdrmgrl Sorry, just saw this. Do you still need joints? If so, what size?

  • @grrrkit It will not damage your floor. There is a silicone pad on the bottom to prevent any scratches.

  • I am considering buying the X-pole for our home (recreational/exercise). I do want the pole to be removable. My concern is that I have brand new hardwood floors and that the pole might leave scratches on it. Do you have any suggestions or opinion? Thanks.
