Part 1 of the launch of the 'Range and Magnitude of Alcohol's Harm to Others' report. This landmark report unearths a new dimension in the national alcohol debate, for the first time quantifying the cost of alcohol-related harms to those other than the drinker themselves.
The launch featured an expert panel discussion around the rarely studied connections between child protection, health, law enforcement and family services - providing a unique insight into how the consequences of individual acts of alcohol misuse ripple through families and communities.
Expert panel:
Professor Robin Room
Dr. Anne-Marie Laslett
Professor Ian Webster
Professor Marcia Langton
Commissioner Andrew P Scipione
Professor Gordian Fulde
Facilitated by:
Dr Norman Swan
