you're right. she wouldn't make american idol. that's because she has an original voice. she doesn't have the voice that american idol is looking for. but she's still a good singer. Just because she doesn't sound like kelly clarkson doesn't mean she's not a good singer

@LyricRembrandt she uses G, Cadd 9 with your piny on the 3rd fret of the high e string, em7, and another form of G where you ust move your pointer finger on the second fret of the Dstring but play the rest of the G chord the same. :) and for the chorus she uses the b bar chord, something else which you can just use a G for, then a normal Em and a C. i hope that helped !

Yeah, American Idol just looks for those generic bubble-gum pop voices. There's something really special about LIGHTS's vocals.
