okay to clear everything up

original 12v 2.8 vr6 makes 172bhp

the 2.912v made 190hp and its mainly fwd but some "syncro" models came AWD with it

the 24v 2.8l vr6 made 200hp but the mk4s were heavy so it doesnt make much of a difference "Ive driven both"

the 24v 3.2l vr6 in the R32 made what 240hp? I dont remember

and the 3.6l vr6 in the passat CC makes high 200shp as well

@scotterinsam r32 in 04 was vr6 and it was also awd and it sold in the USA. The tranny will work on all vr6's except 3.6 vr6 ..

this particular car is a mk 3 so it only has 175bhp! you might be reffering to the mk4 which might make close to 200bhp but still none the less vr's are invincible motors N/a and boosted! by buddy has 300whp on his vr6 turbo and he is still running on stock internals after years of bagging it at the track and daily!
