Purdys are king! The Purdy 2" is the ultimate glossing or egshelling tool. They really are the best. I no longer use bristle. Purdy don't do a 4". I have glossed with Purdy 3" and they are perfect.

@flourishjoe Ya I would totally disagree with this! I remember Corona's weren't bad once upon a time but then someone bought them out and the quality when down hill. I would disregard this post and stick with Purdy IMHO.

The cheapo of me went to Walmart and bought $1 brush to paint some big outdoor wood signs. Painted good the primer but three days later did a horrible job on the paint. And I cleaned it well. Thanks ATB.

purdy is complete garbage use a corona or wooster they make brushes that actually paint perfect out of the box purdy has yet to figure this out due to the fact that their lengths of the cut are way to long and they use terrible polyester

I've had great success with Purdy..... Sorry to hear you've had a bad experience. I'll see if I can locate the brand you mention.

You clean brushes used with oil-based products with mineral spirits. *Read* the label of the product you're using.
