I just bought a 1981 Yamaha Maxim 650cc. With only 17,800 km. I rate it 8/10 for the esthetic and 10/10 for the engine

do you still have it or it is sold already??

@martinromeo7 The reason I made the video was to sell it. Sold it on ebay for about $1,700 (I think) a couple of years ago. It was in really nice shape with a few upgrades.

@1TravisMc ok thanks, i understand. Travis, i live in Mazatlan Sinaloa and i need some pieces for my byke (Is the same than the ex-your), i had found them in e bay, but i dont trust in that means of selling, do you think is reliable??

@martinromeo7 Do I trust eBay for buying parts? If the seller has good feedback then yes. I've been using ebay for over 10 years and have had very few problems.

Haha.. I usually do wear riding gloves. It was freezing out so I thought about wearing my winter gloves, but ended up going with nothing.

Very nice bike I like your choice of bars. I just bought a 82 with believe this 362 miles now 653. It sat for a long time and has a stumble just of idle. Put in hi-test and Lucas fuel additive a little better but not perfect. Any suggestions? Thanks Mike

To use those bars, I used the cables from an XJ550 since they are shorter. To fix the stumble, I'd clean the carburetors, check the cam chain tension, and check the valve clearances. Make sure you have no rust in the tank or it will get into your clean carbs.
