@neodarlek Exactly! As anyone who's read Lenin's Testiment will tell you, Lenin was terrified at the idea of Stalin taking over and even went as far as telling the committee to kick him out.

He prefered Trotsky, which is a) why Stalin and his cronies killed Trotsky, and b) hid the Testiment from the people.

The famine wasn't caused BY Lenin, or anyone else. It happened due to combined effect of the disruption of the agricultural production, started during World War I, and continuing through the disturbances of the Russian Revolution of 1917 and Russian Civil War with its policy of War Communism, especially Prodrazvyorstka.
