yea true Scbuababe20 but there are good wreck discovery/dive accident videos and stories on the net too. My favourite site is the myscubastory site. They have tonnes of real life dive stories and videos. Type myscubastory into google and its the first result

@lanewhittington There are few fish in the cave, but at the end of the swim where it opens up near the ocean you will see lots of fish. We swam out into the ocean a short ways (very close to shore still) and saw lots of fish as well as a stingray which was quite the sight!

Can you snorkel with the fish? or is it just underwater rocks and stuff? I'm going there next week and i would like to know

xcaret is the BOMB we just got back yesterday and it was unbelievable..if you go to xcaret, you HAVE to see the show at the end. its at 7pm it's just amazing in ways that you don't even imagine. something I will never forget. Didn't know Mexico had so much variety of cultures within itself, makes Mexico a more respectable country. Xcaret is something you have to see before you die.

Sorry I missed your question. They are two different-focus places. Overall Xcaret has more of what Xel-Ha has plus lots more plants and fish in tanks and that sort of thing, so if you have to pick one I think it would be Xcaret. Xel-Ha has some great brackish snorkelling and the river thing is not bad.
