For the east coast,OBX does have the best waves!

Have you hit the west coast yet? Do you know what its like to catch a set off of Huntington Beach (the real Surf City), La Jolla, Santa Cruz or Manhattan Beach. You should try if you haven't. I won't dis' NC only because I haven't surfed there yet (and I would like to). This weekend should be pretty crazy (Hurricane/TS Hanna).

A relatively unpublicised song from Brian. Kinda hidden away in back of some of the Beach Boys' more celebrated songs. But I've ALWAYS loved this song. The melody, the fantastic mid-tune organ chorus, Brian's soaring falsetto - it's all here !! Another unmitigated little GEM from Brian The Unbeatable !!

Right on, OMAHAJOE49 ! Mike was a jealous little jerk with a small mind but a big mouth. To Be Sure - his voice was ESSENTIAL to the unique B.Boys sweet harmony sound ; but from what I've seen of Mike in action over several decades - plus what other, AUTHORITATIVE literature sources say about him, he seems not to have been such a terribly nice guy.
