C&C Tiberian Dawn: The Covert Operations - GDI - Blackout 1/2

Part 1/2 of level one in my C&C Tiberian Dawn: The Covert Operations - GDI walkthrough.
From setting out with my two Commandos, destroying the Infantry, the FLAME TANK with an Airstrike, the Power Plants and finally destroying enough defences for my MCV to arrive relatively unharmed. Now the hard part is over, and the base building is relatively simple. Just place 2 lots of 2 AGTs at least 8-10 squares away from your important structures one group north by the forest, and one just south of the forest. It's also worth putting a couple of Guard Towers down at the south east side of your base (by the ravine), to stop engineer incursions. A good economy is recommended, and for the first two patches you should aim for three refineries. When your 2nd Airstrike is ready, scroll to the right hand corner, and place your cursor straight left from the top left corner of the little repair tab, and straight down from the bottom left corner of the little tab at the top with the money on it. If this done accurately, the Construction Yard will be destroyed. They also should have no Airfields and no second Construction Yard by the Temple of Nod if you do this quick enough. If you don't manage to, don't worry, but you will need a much bigger attack force (at least 10-15 Medium Tanks + 2-3 Rocket Launchers, as opposed to like 6 Meds and 2 Rocket Launchers) Save before you place the Airstrike perhaps.
Once this is done, focus on destroying a couple of Turrets towards the eastern Tiberium fields, but be aware of SAMs in their base. Expand towards where the Nod Power Plants once stood (inside is a good place for an MCV if you have the money). Here is where we will gain the funds for the rest of the mission. Check out the next part for info on finishing off the Nod forces, including how to minimise the Nuclear Missile damage you'll inevitably receive from attacking the Temple.

What happened? Its lagging. Looks like you have the same problem than me in the past now ;)

it's just the way it's rendered I think. If you remembered my old C&C videos, they were displayed at 640x400 resolution, I just uploaded the .AVIs directly, and didn't actually touch the file. Still, it looks better like this and the lag is nothing major really.

You should leave the Obelisks alone. Once the overall Nod power grid is down all they're doing is draining power....if one doesn't have enough power then ALL have no power. Nod AI wont just build random powerplants to bring those online. The level designers expectyou to destroy them but leaving them will aid in your future attack on the main base....

I am so stuck on this mission. i really flubbed it up in the beginning and built the base right where the M first appeared. I'll restart the mission tonight and try it the way you are showing.

Can anyone tell me where to download covert operations please? (But not DOS version). ISO or something like that for win95 thanks
