I'm a life long Rangers fan, but I feel sad for true Stros fans. They are losing lots of tradition and rivalries.

All the teams in the AL west will be good next year. Mariners and A's are focusing on hitters. If they follow through they'll both be a lot better competition for the Angels and Texas. 2012 might be the last year I watch baseball I just lost all respect for the organization. I can't believed they approved a shit move, added 2 more wild card teams which will mean that 2 teams that weren't good enough to win their division can win the WS and continuous interleague play taking the life out of WS.

Simply put to even out the divisions one team in the NL Central had to move. Even if another NL West team switched leagues to the AL, it was very likely the Astros would be moving to the NL West... Isn't it better to move only one club to a different division than two or more clubs?
