A teacher dissects the processes in which propaganda works to an eager student. In it are moments of classic hokum, but curiously it all rings true today.

It is not just Americans who have been indoctrinated by propaganda. All humans have been indoctrinated since the first man-made symbol (icon) was created.

"AMERICANS! SHARE THE MEAT!" (I feel this is true. We should all share each others' meat! A lot of our meat--like tuna, sausage, and even meat that can hold milk--is going to waste, unused: this is SAD! People hide their meat in selfish ways: behind in cotton, lace, or behind denim. That is BAD! Americans should keep their meat in plain sight, so that others can know we wish to share it with them, to suck, eat, or even insert it into other meat. So, come, won't you? @Bodhidharma1986 That's a good answer. I guess propaganda is the price we pay to live in a "democracy." Everyone free to present their idea of the world and how it should be. Yet, it seems all the information is coming from the "same faucet" or big media making it hard to find non-objective news. Even worse is that so many americans are unwilling to even look for alternate viewpoints by which to create a personal opinion. Liberal, conservative, it's all colored by a viewpoint.

very educational, but I'm afraid some of this propaganda techniques no longer work. today cards staking would work backwards, because there is a battalion of journalist and independent sources from which people can get information and see the real scenario. also today people consider that those who use card staking are cheating and lying (which is true).
