@Renagade70 Maggie Peterson is a really nice person. She was the actress that played as Charlene Darling on the show. I've talked to her about every year she's been here.

@Renagade70 No I'm not Ron Howard lol. I played as Opie during the Mayberry Days. I'm the only person to play Opie that's from here in Mt. Airy and have lived here my whole life.

I enjoyed being Opie for over 6 years. I got to meet people such as the real Goober. I also met the real Ernest T. Bass who isn't actually nice in person, and I've also met the guy that played as Rosco P. Coltrain from Duke's of Hazzard who was also a guest star on the Andy Griffith Show in an episode.
