I realize you are probably stock, hold ALT + L, and you can STILL flash the update.zip that I did in the video! That's why I said you HAD to rename it, because that's assuming you are STOCK right now. With custom recovery, you do NOT have to rename zips to update.zip! So whether you're on stock recovery, or custom recovery, you can still flash the stock update.zip that contains the exploit for root!

@DSma11z that's kinda funny! sorry, I can't. All I know, is I followed directions, and it worked SEVERAL times. (I went stock and rooted more times than you can imagine trying to get the process down perfectly)

Hi, watched your vid. I have a cliq xt Blur version 1.32.24 and i follow the instruction. I dl both files on the sd card, recover and chose update zip but I keep getting failed. Any suggestion?
