We begin this episode (as with the prevoius episode) with a challenging comment from Dr. Michael Festing. We then resume our listening of Dr. Vivienne Parry's excellent BBC Radio 4 programme called 'Secret Science'. This time, unlike the last episode on vaccines, Dr. Parry concentrates on insulin and the mono-clonal antibody TGN1412. Lastly, we switch from Dr. Parry's programme to Dr. Graham Easton's BBC Radio 4 programme called 'The Future of Drug Trials'. In this programme Dr. Easton specifically concentrates on the Northwick Park incident concerning TGN1412 and its subsequent implications for future drug trials.
