no,you cant install apps since you need japanese network to access internet to install and cant get network here in the got the p905i, n905i, and sh905i.all works wonders...
of the 3, i like the sh905i better
still lots better than iphone !
all these people go ga-ga over iphone..because their mind is only set to american phone.
think outside the box... think Japanese phones their phones have had this technology and 3g (up to 4g now) and apps for over 3 years now !!! SUPPORT JAPANESE PHONES !!!

just bought it.. and lots of customization for menus..down to lights, sounds.. very fancy indeed..
too bad even unlocking it will not be able to use all the features here in the U.S.
still better than any US phones
