Devonshire Project Adventure Elementary

It has been 25 years since the Devonshire School literally embraced Project Adventure, changing the school name to "Devonshire Project Adventure." Devonshire is a K-5 school in Columbus, Ohio serving 470 urban youth with a large English as Second Language Learner and Special Education population. Adventure learning has been the leading social-emotional model and it guides their approach to classroom instruction, physical education, child development, and school culture.

What an exciting school environment. I attended Pat's presentation at PA's 40th anniversary symposia, and geez, I'm so excited that the program has continued to grow. I was fortunate to visit the school during my 1990 internship with PA and was blown away by what a school could be. At the time, I can recall saying that Ii wouldn't have kids until a PA School like Devonshire was in Melbourne Australia! Thanks PA, thnk you Pat and thnak you to all of your dedicated staff....
