That's using your head!

This was filmed at a district playoff game in 2005. The pitcher returned to the game after 2 innings. She did not get seriously injured. Notice that the firs baseman caught the ball and tried to double off the runner at first.

@XXfrancesca127 actually the first baseman was running over to see if she was ok, realized that the ball was catchable and caught it...attempted to double off the runner but the 2nd baseman was over to the pitcher by then and the right fielder was all the way to 1st base. This all happened in 12 seconds so I doubt there was much thinking going on at the time!

no one was at first base as the 2nd baseman was rushing to the aid of the pitcher....eventually the right fielder made it to first.

It looked like she was trying to throw a drop-curve.

But she rotated her hand to early,and didnt get the full spinn for a drop,or a curve.

And the speeed of the ball she pitched,didn't exactly help when it came off the sweet spot in that,(looks like a combat)(sounds like a combat)

Im a guy i pitch overhand and when i throw and release a turn a little bit and put my glove about enck height so that sortof thing doesnt happen to me.
