  • You should join the Kinkajou group on Yahoo groups and ask around and check out the food and housing recommendations with the group. Kinkajous can cost anywhere from $1,500 to $3,000. They can be very loving their whole lives, but they can also change later in life.

  • All of my kinkajous were rescues. I have been able to bring out their playful and loving side. My dog Annie was a big help in that area. Kinkajous can be great and they can be very aggressive. It all depends on how they were raised and who they live with.

  • oh my god your kinkajou is so cute! i live in england so i dont think id be aloud to have one as a pet. that and my partner wont let me get one lol. but what are they like as pets? such as how much do they bite? how much would one cost to feed? how are they with other animals? how are they with children? if you could reply to my page that would be great.

  • @tezbear1987 Kinkajous can be both very aggressive and very sweet. It really depends it they were wild caught or captive born. I understand that neutering or spaying at a early age might prevent aggressive behavior. A kinkajou is not the easiest pet to raise, they can change very quickly and their bites are very sever. I would never recommend a Kinkajous to a couple with children. Mine worked out but one became very aggressive towards me. You might want to join the kinakjou group on yahoo.

  • are they a good family pet and r they easy to take care of? Also if i wanted one should i get one or two?

  • I have two two toed sloths and they are great pets.

  • so cute

  • Can they be house broken?

  • Hey, I've had experience with kinkajous, but unfortunately I can't find a good place to buy one. I originally lived in WA but currently in UT while my boyfriend goes to college. Where would you recommend looking to purchase one or two kinkajous and about how much would you estimate to pay for them.
