EXCLUSIVE: Dieter Wiesner tells Charles Thomson, 'I caught Bashir tampering with Jackson's luggage'

In October 2010 Charles Thomson interviewed Dieter Wiesner, who served as Michael Jackson's manager from 1997 until 2003.

During the interview Wiesner made the shocking claim that on a trip to Berlin in 2002, he had caught Martin Bashir sneaking into Michael Jackson's suite and going through the superstar's luggage.

thanks charles. just confirms what we already know . bashir was setting mj up and looking for criminal activity as in drugs or kiddie porn. he found nothing because mj was an innocent person , and yet he still made out as if he was a criminal on tv. this man is a disgrace to journalism, he shouldn't be allowed on a high school newspaper never mind national media ...

I'm no fan of Bashir, but nor am I of Weisner. This is the same guy who was gunna sue MJ 50 million even though he and Konitzier stole 900 thousand from Michael in 2002. MJ said when he gave Weisner control of his estate he was drug intoxicated at the time he signed it over. Seems very suspious 2 me. I wonder if Michael was deliberately drugged to keep him passive. Every1 knew in 93 he had a problem I think some ppl saw this and took advantage. Tohme could of easily done the same in 2009.

I would not want anyone going through my belongings without my consent and I have the respect and decency to know better than to go through others. Martin is just disgusting,

Martin Bashir is really a disgusting human being. It's a pity that Michael didn't realize until it was too late that Bashir didn't mean him any good and in fact set out to destroy him. Michael gave him too much access and should have place restrictions on what he could ask him.

@dancingaroundtheworl it is different, because the airport security has the right to do so, for security reasons. Now someone else going through another person's luggage is invasion of privacy. That was really unrespectful of Bashir and very shady.
