It started off with Janice's ukulele from Nicole Lee. Then it became the Sun Eskimos. We're a group of teenagers with a unique, alternative sound (at least we'd like to think so). The group was formed in late 2008 and comprises of Ben Willets, Christopher Lai, Emily DiRenzo, Janice Ngiam, and Sean Ng. In 2010, we released (along with Caleb Hung) our debut self-titled EP with proceeds going to Darfur. We've just started playing around Hong Kong (and it's very exciting).
We aspire to one day become as awesome as Regina Spektor, Metric, Vampire Weekend and Miike Snow. Today, they average out to be exactly 16 years old.
On Friday, the 28th of May 2010, Forcible Shorts created our first music video. On Saturday, the 17th of September 2010, we played our first official gig at the Fringe Club.
