The problem in a nutshell is that among the priests and higher ranks there are evil men--crazy as it sounds--who simply scheme so as to hold on to power and respect. They are not loving people, which explains not only the abuse some of them commit but the facilitation of this abuse by others among them. Deep down, they are small, pitiable men, who get joy from flexing power over the vulnerable. This has to be understood for the crisis to be put into perspective.

Their strategy has always been to "deny everything; admit nothing; and accuse others of what we do/are." They've accused others of being homosexual when they're homosexual; they've accused others of being pagan when they're pagan; they've accused others of being heretics when they're the heretics and blasphemers; they've accused Mary Magdalene of being a whore when it is their organization that is the Whore; they've called you a "fucking idiot" when that's what they are. As a Catholic, I assert that you being a Pagan is completely irrelevant...to the point that you were a victim of Catholic Clerical Abuse. This is a crime; they have obviously obstructed justice in your case.

The words & deeds of Levada & his toadies in your case are disgusting to me...but not surprising. Ppl are merely toys for their use & abuse. Levada well known to Ratzinger - which is WHY he was made AB of SF, & why he was appointed to the CDF.
