Begum Akhtar was one of the Finest vocalists and Ghazal singers that india has produced so far. There is no contemporary female singer who can match her brilliance!!!!!!!!

I don't need to add any comments on the amazing music of Begum Akhtar. My question is, where is the microphone(s)? The recording (though old) is quite clear, with all the accompaniments properly balanced, yet with no ambient noise.
