  • Thumbs up for George Carlin at 9:27.

  • @chokemychiken These things described certainly do not appear to be happening in modern day. With the expanse of technology, the likelihood of there not being a clear capture, whether video or photo, that cannot be easily dismissed as too vague to be sure is unlikely. There fore it is my belief that believing in such things is done simply because you want to. Mostly because I tend to be very skeptical, I rely on what can be tested scientifically. But to each his or her own.

  • @chokemychiken I wasn't necessarily "grasping at straws". Ancient cultures are known for such behaviors and using such explanations. Make statement, albeit, was general and not specific. You do make a valid point on there being more specific descriptions in the christian bible. But as you also said, it is not to say that they could have been anything from a dream, psychedelics, or made up.

  • In fact, the text here concerned, the bible, actually does describe comets and meteors, and it refers to them as stars falling from heaven, like figs falling of of a tree, etc. So they knew of comets & meteors and had terminology to distinguish them from their visions of their gods and angels and what not.

Josephus describes flying chariots being piloted by armies and engaging battle, so that's hardly a comet or a meteor. Probably not a spaceship either, but no meteor.

  • @jayzizza0829

Nah, you're grasping at straws. A meteor or comet hardly fits the complex and detailed description written in Ezekiel, so you show that you do not know what you are talking about and just speaking off the top of your head, which is hardly being logical. Of course, this is not to say that the author of Ezekiel is describing an alien space craft or whatever. Could've been anything from a dream, to a psychedelic trip, to just plain made up bullshit, etc. But a meteor, it is not.

  • @chokemychiken Yes UFO accounts do go back much further. But then again there are also perfectly logical scientific explainations for these as well. In the same regard as more primitive man descibing the sun, a volcano, the river nile, or any other phenomena, inexplicable at the time due to the absense of science. Humans that lived that long ago also inevitably would have had accounts of meteors and closely passing comets... There sir are your chariots of fire or "gods"

  • @slick0567 In fact, there are people that did work there that have since been retired and the knowledge they possessed "declassified" and have stated that the goings on are perfectly logical. Where do you think stealth technologies and other such aircraft that were unbeknownst to the American public for decades were tested and developed? Area-51 would be such a place, in fact, Area-51 is not the only place this occurs, it is just the only facility glamourized by wild anecdotal claims.

  • @slick0567 (part 1)The answer to your question is very simple actually. To begin we, as humans, have the adversion of making things around us in life "fantastical" if for no other reason than personal amusment. Why else would we make SciFi movies which we know to be just that, fiction? Which to me is fine. More directly, let me assure you "Area-51" stories are bullshit. If you purport that "ex-employees" have made "E.T." claims then I would challenge that you produce these people.

  • fuck that look at ancient Aliens, Our Ancestors Belived In Aliens. and Theres a load of Cover up stories. Why Are Ex-Area 51 High lvl Say that they meet them. Are they Smoking something or telling the truth.

  • Anyway, so, the best evidence for the plane(specifically a plane, we KNOW for certian at least SOMETHING HIT IT) hitting the pentagon- anectodal eyewitness accounts, and one blurry video of an undiscernable object alleged to be the plane.

Hmmm... yet this is the same quality of evidence you and others would dismiss if offered for "UFOs". And perhaps you are justified in such dismissal, but I am just curious if you are consistent.
