I like the middle single coil pickup in strats, most people almost never use them, but I think theyre very useful, specially for funk/rythm stuff.

i have fender lace sensors gold . i have coil tapped in series. meaning with the tone push pull pot knob out in pos 2 i get neck and middle in series and in pos 4 middle and neck in series. exc sounds more like a humbucker. aslo have another usa strat with vintage noiseless pickups in . both lace and vintage are exc pups.

@markdocker get a mexican strat cheap as hell and built well, stock pickups can be a bit off but you can substitute them for a really nice set of pickups but you save in the end like what at least £300 just because it wasn't made in america, Even squires are good

Hey frets, I'm having horrible hum with my Neovins...my clean has very little/quiet hum, but on amp distortion, it hums like my old stock ceramic pickups...help please!!!
