"Bill W. & Dr. Bob" is a remarkable and humorous story set around the lives and, more importantly, the friendship of Bill Wilson and Dr. Bob Smith. Bill Wilson, a down-and-out stockbroker, and Dr. Bob Smith, a surgeon from Ohio, were both alcoholics that through a surprising series of events meet and form the friendship that is responsible for the creation of Alcoholics Anonymous.
