  • How was the original track? It was a straight guitar input in the mixer or it was already with distortion?

  • The guitar was totally clean.

  • Yes, it is played on a real guitar, into a mixer and then into the computer.

  • my connection is fail sometime. Can I download that file,Please?

  • please don't cut off the screen

  • For a demo sound it sounded horrid I am sorry but I have Logic and I have not come across 1 decent sound the sound to my ears is rather harsh imho you cannot beat a real amp

  • I make better tones from my asshole (no disrespect to you jdalrymple).

  • Can you also just have a part of the track being edited with the Amp Designer?

  • Logic is absolutely amazing DAW but amp designer doesnt even come close to free amps sims out there let alone paid ones.its sounds like a cheap pedalboard and nothing more.

  • sounds nice!

  • meh, it's a lot better than guitar amp pro that comes with logic, but this thing is still obviously far from perfect (like all software guitar amp programs) in trying to replicate an actual tube amp. i wouldn't use it if i were to make a guitar heavy song, where the guitar is playing the melody, but it is useful when using it as a guitar hook, etc in a electro/pop type of song, or more experimental indy, where guitar is minimal. it is fun though just to play with if you are not recording.

  • yea, its a soft amp alright, gj

  • Amp Designer sounds like a joke compared with Amplitube 3 or Waves GTR. Those Fender emulation are laughable. Amp Designer can even nail the bread and butter clean tube sounds, let alone the more complicated high gain tones.
