I remember when Hank used the name Luke the Drifter, the name was used on a lot of his Gospel Records. I sure miss Hank's live voice from the years I've seen him on stage.

@BigCookinCajun It wasn't scoliosis,it was spina bifida occulta,mild form of spina bifida,so no deformation of the spine,just vertebrae not fully formed at the top of the spine,however intense pain,hence the ensuing addiction to morphine...

Be sure to check out 'The Unreleased recordings of Hank Williams' at Time-Life Records, a 3 CD boxed set of radio station acetates from 1950. Cool Clear Water raised up goose bumps, it's so clear and live. Hank was the best of the country greats!
