Historically Accurate Cinderella
http://shoomlah.deviantart.com/art/Nothing-to-it-really-207356116

There are almost seven hours of art here crammed into 10 minutes of video, so apologies for the fact that it speeds through everything pretty rapidly. I'm still honing the idea of posting process videos and tutorials, so any and all feedback is always appreciated.

  • could you please re-upload this at x3 the length (the end goes by so fast i can barely register what's going on)?

  • @ourabouras Sorry, no- it takes a lot of time and editing to post these. There's an alternate video with slower shots already uploaded to my channel if you'd like to check that one out.

  • I hate to be so nosy but after you do the lines... How do you change their colour? Like, to match her skin/dress/hair etc- do you just colour over them and they go that colour? I've been wanting to try it out for a while!

OH and also, so many hats tipped up for you, this is amazing! <3

  • @IndieLuvs It's just like painting any other colour- I choose a colour from the palette and paint it in. There's no fancy process to make it match the skin tone.

  • how do you tilt the picture so fast

  • @EngimaSyn holding down the "R" key in CS5 allows you to rotate the canvas.

  • I LOVE your work, and just watching your videos has helped me solve so many of my digital art problems. How you layer your groups of lines, colours, etc. Wonderful! :3

  • At 7:55 you start air brushing with a black but it turns out just darken then the color itself, How is that???

  • Hey, I'm just starting to learn how to do digital paintings and i woyld like to ask just a small question. When you added the first color base, how did you selected the entire figure at once? Or did you colored it yourself inside the lines?

    Also, very beautiful work ^^

  • Oh my gosh that line art! How do you make such clean line art??!

  • you are AWESOME!!!!

  • @skellingtonne i would also like to know this! would make alot more sense than actually shading with color then coming up with a strange hue later.
