That isnt the "record" on that setup. My buddy, Marco, has gone 11.58 on nothing but tire. His car was featured in 5.0 magazine, and has had other appearances. He has since put a tune on it, CAI, Kooks longtubes and h-pipe, and a Mcleod clutch. He is looking for low 11's, possibly a high 10(unlikely)

Because I know how to set my car up for the track and basically driver ability. The same car with five different drivers with varying skill levels will net five very different results.

@petrisal How about you compare the equivalent GT500 to the CTS-V Coupe? That seems more of a fair fight, and the GT500 can be bought as a convertible and a little bit cheaper than the Cadillac. Plus, the GT500 you aren't already paying for in taxes.
